- Visa, MC, PayPal (via SBI payment gateway) on indianvisaonline.gov.in. Amex/Maestro debit also accepted. No Amex credit. Arab bank cards may be declined.
- Transit
- No transit visa required for airside transit if staying under 24 hours at designated airports. Grounded Transit Visa (GTV) required for landside transit. eVisa not valid for transit. Some nationalities with poor travel history may face additional scrutiny. Source: indianvisaonline.gov.in.
- Hotel booking
- Full travel itinerary required for Indian eVisa: hotel bookings or host letters for intended stays. 30-day eVisa: first night minimum acceptable in practice. 1-year/5-year: full itinerary more strictly reviewed. Source: indianvisaonline.gov.in official requirements.
