- CRITICAL: USA has NO international transit zone. ALL passengers including transit must clear US immigration. VWP countries: ESTA required (same as normal entry). Non-VWP: C-1 transit visa or B-1/B-2 visitor visa required. TWOV program suspended indefinitely. Source: US CBP official + State Dept transit page (confirmed 2026).
