What can change this answer

Holding another visa or a residence permit, your age or your port of entry can open a different route.

These routes are conditional. Every stated requirement must be met; selecting a document does not confirm eligibility.

Do you hold one of these?

  • A valid Bahrain residence permit permits entry without a separate visa.

    • The document must be valid on entry.
    Conditional · No visa needed
  • Arrival visa for one calendar month with residence issued at least 3 months earlier and valid for 3 further months, hotel booking, onward ticket and funds. Labourer profession is ineligible. Domestic staff also need a re-entry visa and an accompanying sponsor who is a citizen of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia or the UAE.

    • The document must be valid on entry.
    Conditional · Visa on arrival
  • A US Form I-551 permanent resident or resident alien card permits a 14-day arrival visa, extendable by 14 days.

    • The document must be valid on entry.
    • This route requires permanent residence.
    Conditional · Visa on arrival
  • A valid visa from Saudi Arabia, the USA, UAE, UK or a Schengen state permits a one-calendar-month arrival visa, extendable by 14 days. Confirm that the supporting visa category qualifies.

    • The document must be valid on entry.
    Conditional · Visa on arrival

Obtain approval before travel; carry the confirmation with its scannable QR code.
