What can change this answer

Holding another visa or a residence permit, your age or your port of entry can open a different route.

These routes are conditional. Every stated requirement must be met; selecting a document does not confirm eligibility.

Do you hold one of these?

Arrange a consular visa before travel unless a qualifying foreign document provides another route.

    Payment, transit and practical tips

    Emergency numbers
    General 112 · Police 112 · Ambulance 112
    eSIM availability
Magti offers eSIM for compatible devices, including a new number through MyMagti from abroad. Activation needs internet; the published activation charge is GEL 10. Airport-counter availability remains unconfirmed.
    Cash declaration
Declare cash, cheques and other securities when their combined value exceeds GEL 30,000 or its foreign-currency equivalent on entry or exit. Currency import or export itself carries no charge.
    Duty-free allowance
For personal goods arriving by air: up to 30 kg and GEL 3,000; other transport: up to GEL 500 once in 30 calendar days. Food: up to 30 kg and GEL 500 once per calendar day. Age limits were not stated on the consulted page.
    Medicines
For eligible controlled medicines, carry no more than a 31-day personal supply and present a customs declaration plus prescription or physician details. Check the exact substance with the embassy or health regulator; this does not authorise every medicine.

An overstay fine must be settled; unpaid fines can prevent a later visa or entry. The current amount remains unconfirmed.
    Leaving the country
Leave before lawful stay expires. A qualifying deferral requires a separate application or statutory process; it is not an automatic tourist extension.
