Cash declaration: Foreign cash can be brought in under customs procedures. On exit, up to USD 10000 uses oral declaration; USD 10000–50000 needs written declaration and prior import proof. AZN 20000 or more requires written declaration in either direction.
Duty-free allowance: For adults aged 18 or more, the published monthly allowance includes 1.5 litres of alcohol, 200 cigarettes, 20 g of gold jewellery and 0.5 carat of diamonds. Personal goods limits and declaration rules still apply.
Medicines: Medicines in quantities necessary for personal use are exempt from customs duty. This does not establish permission for every controlled medicine; confirm the specific product with Customs.
