Who this applies to, and exceptions

What can change this answer

Holding another visa or a residence permit, your age or your port of entry can open a different route.

These routes are conditional. Every stated requirement must be met; selecting a document does not confirm eligibility.

  • Holders of Kenyan permanent residence or a valid Kenyan work permit, pass or re-entry authority are exempt; their existing permission controls the stay.

    • The document must be valid on entry.
    Conditional · No visa needed
  • Remain within the airport transit area while connecting, or aboard the same arriving and departing ship, without entering the country.

    Conditional · No visa needed

No travel authorisation needed for up to 90 days.
