Multiple-entry visa: meaning
A visa allowing repeated entries during its validity. Each visit and the combined visits must still comply with the applicable stay limits.
Does a multiple-entry visa give me a new stay allowance every time?
- Read the number of entries, the visa validity dates and the permitted stay as separate fields on the document.
- Check whether the destination also has a rolling or annual stay limit. Multiple entries alone do not establish the number of days remaining.
- Use the destination rule and your previous visits to review the next journey. The trip planner is an aid; the issued permission still sets its own limits.
