Printout: meaning
A paper copy of an approved visa or permission. Carry it when the destination requires paper; phone display is sufficient only where the official instructions allow it.
Is displaying my approval on a phone enough?
- Check the printout instruction for the exact visa or registration product. A digital approval does not by itself establish that a phone copy is accepted.
- Where a printed copy is required, download the issued document and check that its identity and passport details match your travel document.
- For example, the Egypt eVisa guide records a printout requirement. Open that guide for the source and the remaining entry documents.
